My Dear Friends and Family,
The path was long and full of challenges, but here we are at last, the moment we have all been preparing for. It has not been an easy journey for me, and I know it has been just as gruelling for all of you, my allies and supporters. This past month and a half was full of trials, joys, sorrows, and dilemmas, but with the grace of our Creator and your help, we have been able to spread the rallying cry all over the first district and even beyond.
Our campaigns, both in the real world and in the electronic realm of the internet, have reached so many people’s minds and hearts, giving them the necessary impetus to think and become concerned with our country’s future.
This is not just another election. With the new decade unfolding, the Philippines stands at a crossroads, and we as members of this nation must do our part in collectively deciding which direction we should go. Hopefully, it is towards prosperity, security, and unity.
Tomorrow, exercise your democratic right to choose our country’s leaders. Use both your intellect and wisdom to make those choices. For those who have been granted the important duty of watching the polls or serving as the administrators of this exercise, I implore you to enforce fairness and discipline so as this election will be peaceful and successful.
Once again, my heart goes out to all of you in gratitude. May God bless us in this pivotal moment of our country’s history. Padayon Bol-anon!
